Touch-tile till
Retail point of sale with product tiles, returns and a barcode scan page in the inventory module.
POS for Australia
POS software Australian retailers can run on their own server: the RIVER ERP till, with stock and ledger in one install. We build remotely from Casablanca, in English. GST, EFTPOS and BAS reporting are custom work, scoped and quoted before anything is installed.
What it is
POS software Australian shops can own: the RIVER ERP till is a touch-tile retail point of sale with sessions, cash counts, returns and Z-reports. Every closed sale is a stock movement and a ledger entry on your own server. It is licensed per domain, so another cashier costs nothing extra.
We are a remote studio in Casablanca, and we list no Australian clients. RIVER ERP is built Morocco-first: its chart of accounts and tax rules are Moroccan. For Australia, GST, BAS reporting and card terminals are custom work. This page says what that means before you spend a dollar.
Read the full RIVER ERP page, including its honest list of what it does not do, or our wider ERP service. The Australian parts follow our custom software development process. For online sales, see RAIN Store. The Australia hub covers the time zones.
Australian rules
GST and receipts. Shop prices in Australia are normally quoted GST-inclusive, and receipts normally show the GST. A tax invoice carries your ABN and the GST amount. The till has to total the GST collected for each period, because the Business Activity Statement needs it. Your accountant decides how GST codes map to your accounts, and we build to their examples.
Payments. Australian shops take cards through integrated EFTPOS terminals from providers such as Tyro and Square, and online through gateways such as Stripe. Customers also pay by PayID transfer, and many use Afterpay or Zip online. The RIVER ERP till records multi-payment and partial payments. It has no ready-made link to an Australian card terminal, so each integration is scoped as custom work with the provider.
Today
Taken from the RIVER ERP product page. Nothing here is Australia-specific yet.
Retail point of sale with product tiles, returns and a barcode scan page in the inventory module.
Cash counts, variance and an end-of-day Z-report for every session.
Multi-warehouse stock with FIFO or weighted-average valuation, batches and serial numbers.
Every closed sale posts a stock movement and a ledger entry. The chart of accounts today is Moroccan.
Floor plan, kitchen and waiter screens, tips and loyalty on the same licence.
Runs on tablets and desktops. The stock scanner queues offline and replays when the signal returns.
Choosing
Neither is right for everyone. This is how they differ.

Scope
These are the custom parts, quoted before any code is written.
Online and in store
If you also sell online, RAIN Store syncs orders, inventory, customers, returns and refunds both ways with RIVER ERP. Shelf and website then show one stock figure. Its checkout includes Stripe, PayPal and Adyen among 21 gateways, so check whether your gateway is covered. Afterpay and Zip are not named on the RAIN Store page, so we would confirm them with you first.
How it runs
Calls sit at the end of your day. Everything else is written.
A working session on your own till flow, your stock and your accountant’s needs.
GST, BAS, terminals and hardware are listed and quoted up front. Work starts within 3–5 business days.
We test with sample data on a preview link, and you review it in your morning.
One till runs live first, while the old system stays as a fallback.
Roles are trained on their own screens. You receive the code, the documents and a walkthrough.
FAQ
What shops and cafes in Australia ask before they book a walkthrough.
No. RIVER ERP is built Morocco-first, and its till has no Australian GST or card-terminal module today. Those parts are custom work. If you need a certified till next week, a hosted POS from a local supplier is the faster choice.
Not out of the box. We agree the GST codes, the tax-invoice layout and the period report with you and your accountant, write them into the scope and test them with your own sales examples.
Not today. We would integrate your provider’s terminal through its developer tools as scoped work. We say which providers we have not integrated before the quote, not after.
RIVER ERP is licensed per domain, so another till or cashier adds no fee. You still pay for hosting and your payment provider. There is no public price list, so you receive a scoped quote.
Support terms are agreed in writing, because there is no published SLA. One engineer builds and supports RIVER ERP, and we are 9 to 10 hours behind the east coast. If you need guaranteed local support hours, choose a local vendor.
Restaurant mode has a floor plan, kitchen and waiter screens, tips and loyalty. The same GST and terminal work applies, so it is scoped the same way.
