Eircode
Every Irish address has a 7-character Eircode. We add an Eircode field, and a lookup service if you want one.
Ireland
We build online shops, websites and business software for Irish companies, remotely, from Casablanca, in English. Ireland shares our clock in summer and sits one hour behind in winter, so we share eight hours of every working day. VAT at 23 %, GDPR and Eircode fields are scoped first.
Ireland, from Casablanca
Ecommerce website development Ireland businesses can book from Casablanca: online shops, websites and the systems behind them, built remotely, in English. Ireland shares our clock from late March to late October and is one hour behind us in winter, so eight hours of your working day are shared all year.
We are not an Irish company, and we have no office in Ireland. We work in English, so there is no language gap. You get a fixed quote, a working preview at every step and all code and documentation at handover. If you want a supplier you can meet on the same street, a local studio is the better fit.
Ireland is an English-speaking member of the EU and the euro area. Dublin is home to the European offices of many global technology companies and to the International Financial Services Centre. Cork, Galway and Limerick are the other main cities. Irish shops often sell into Northern Ireland and Great Britain too, which adds sterling prices and post-Brexit rules that we scope with you.

Rules we build around
VAT. The standard rate is 23 %. Reduced rates of 13.5 % and 9 % apply to some goods and services. Revenue, the tax authority, runs the Revenue Online Service (ROS) for returns. Selling to consumers in other EU countries above €10,000 a year brings in the buyer’s local rate, reported through the One-Stop Shop.
Northern Ireland and Great Britain. Selling there adds sterling prices, UK VAT and customs rules. We build the tax zones and ask your accountant to confirm the rates.
Privacy and email. GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply, and the Data Protection Commission is the regulator. The ePrivacy Regulations 2011 require consent for non-essential cookies and for most marketing email. We design forms, mailing lists and CRM data around those rules.
Consumers and accessibility. Online buyers in the EU have a 14-day right to cancel most distance purchases. The European Accessibility Act has covered online shops that sell to consumers since 28 June 2025, with an exemption for micro-enterprises that provide services.
