Discovery call
A short call in your morning covers the goal, the audience and the constraints.
Toronto
We design and build websites for Toronto businesses, remotely, from Casablanca. Toronto is five or six hours behind us, so calls happen in your morning and builds move forward while you sleep. Prices, HST at 13 % and Ontario privacy rules are scoped before any code is written.
Toronto, from Casablanca
Web design Toronto buyers can book without a flight: we design, build and launch your site from Casablanca and work in your hours. Toronto is on Eastern Time, so we are five hours ahead in summer and six in winter. That leaves three to four shared hours every working morning.
We are not a Toronto office, and we say so on purpose. Toronto runs on UTC-4 during daylight time and UTC-5 the rest of the year. Daylight time runs from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November. Casablanca stays on UTC+1, and moves to UTC+0 during Ramadan, which narrows the gap by one hour.
Count a 09:00 to 18:00 day in Casablanca. Your 09:00 to 13:00 is our 14:00 to 18:00 in summer, and your 09:00 to 12:00 is our 15:00 to 18:00 in winter. We hold design reviews in that window. Everything else is written down, so nobody waits for a meeting.
This page sits inside our website design services for Canadian businesses, part of the Canada hub. Also see web design Ottawa and web design Montreal, both in Eastern time, and our SEO agency Toronto page.
Ontario rules
Tax and payments. Ontario’s HST is 13 %: 5 % federal and 8 % provincial. A Toronto store must show and charge it correctly. We set the tax zone, test checkout totals against your accountant’s examples, and connect providers that serve Canadian merchants, such as Stripe, PayPal, Square and Adyen. For a self-hosted shop, see RAIN Store.
Privacy and accessibility. Ontario has no general private-sector privacy law of its own, so PIPEDA applies to commercial activity. The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requires WCAG 2.0 level AA on public websites of the public sector and of organisations with 50 or more employees. If it applies to you, we write the target into the scope. Confirm the details with your lawyer.
What we build
A Toronto business usually needs one of three things: a marketing site, an online store or a portal behind a login. We design the pages on real screens, build them in Next.js and React, and add a Laravel back end when the site needs accounts, orders or a CRM.
How a project runs
Your morning is our afternoon, so design reviews happen live. Our mornings fall in your early hours, so work on your notes happens while Toronto sleeps. Feedback you send at the end of your day is the first thing we read at the start of ours.

FAQ
What businesses in Toronto ask before they book a call.
No. We work remotely from Casablanca and meet on video in your morning. If an in-person meeting matters most to you, a local studio is the better fit.
Toronto is 5 hours behind Casablanca during daylight saving time and 6 hours behind the rest of the year. Calls fit into your morning, and everything else is in writing.
Yes. We configure Ontario as a tax zone, test checkout totals against examples from your accountant, and connect payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Delivery and returns pages are part of the scope too.
It depends on your size and sector: the rule covers the public sector and organisations with 50 or more employees. If it covers you, ask us to write the accessibility target into the scope. Your lawyer can confirm whether you are covered.
Yes. As a web development company Toronto teams can hire remotely, we build in Next.js, React, TypeScript and Laravel: portals, booking flows, APIs and integrations with your CRM or ERP.
Most Toronto sites are English only. Add French if you sell in Quebec or to the federal government, and other languages if your customers need them. Native speakers should write the copy.
