ERP software Saudi Arabia: ZATCA-ready invoicing

ERP software for Saudi businesses, built remotely from Casablanca. Our ready ERP, RIVER ERP, is Morocco-first, so ZATCA e-invoicing, Saudi VAT figures and GOSI payroll are custom work, scoped and priced before you commit. We build the modules you need, in Arabic and English.

What an ERP is

ERP software for Saudi Arabia: ready or custom

ERP software Saudi Arabia companies can run on one set of books: invoices, stock, purchasing and finance. Our ready system, RIVER ERP, is built for Morocco first, so ZATCA e-invoicing, Saudi VAT figures and GOSI payroll would be custom work. We say so before the quote and build only the modules you need.

What is an ERP? It is one system where sales, purchasing, stock and accounting share the same customer, product and ledger records. A confirmed quote becomes an order, then an invoice, then a payment, with nothing typed twice. In Saudi Arabia the invoice step is the hard part, because every invoice must meet ZATCA’s rules.

RIVER ERP is a fair base to start from: 23 modules in one install, multi-currency with a declared base currency and a licence per domain, with no per-seat fee. Its Arabic screens are translated but laid out left-to-right. If a Saudi-localised ERP already fits your process, buy that. A custom ERP makes sense when your process is unusual or you want to own the code.

Riyadh is two hours ahead of Casablanca, or three in Ramadan, and the Saudi week runs Sunday to Thursday. We share Monday to Thursday for workshops. This page sits under the Saudi Arabia hub, Gulf hub and all markets.

Module by module

How a Saudi ERP rollout runs

The business keeps running while the system grows around it.

01

Audit

We map documents, roles, your ZATCA wave and tools, then agree what goes live first.

02

Invoicing and the sandbox

Quotes and invoices are built to the specification and tested in ZATCA’s sandbox before any live invoice.

03

Stock and purchasing

Stock moves post to the ledger as they happen, with suppliers and landed costs.

04

Payroll and reports

The salary file, VAT figures and Zakat reports your accountant needs, one at a time.

05

Run

We host, monitor and back it up, or hand it to your team with documentation and a walkthrough.

FAQ

Questions from Saudi buyers

What businesses in Saudi Arabia ask before they choose an ERP.

1

Does RIVER ERP work for a Saudi company out of the box?

No. RIVER ERP is Morocco-first. It handles invoicing, stock, the till and multi-currency, but ZATCA e-invoicing, Saudi VAT figures and GOSI payroll are custom work. We say so before the quote.

2

Can you make invoices ZATCA-compliant?

We build invoice generation to ZATCA’s published specification and test it in the sandbox. Your company completes onboarding, and your accountant confirms your wave. We show the test results, so nothing rests on a promise.

3

What is the difference between clearance and reporting?

Clearance applies to standard (B2B) invoices: ZATCA validates and stamps them before they go to the buyer. Reporting applies to simplified (B2C) invoices: they go to the buyer first and are reported to ZATCA within 24 hours.

4

Should I buy a Saudi-localised ERP instead?

If your process is standard, often yes. Come to us when your process is unusual, when you want only some modules or when you want to own the code and the data.

5

Can the ERP work in Arabic?

RIVER ERP’s Arabic screens are translated but laid out left-to-right, so right-to-left is custom work. A custom build can be right-to-left from the first screen, with Arabic invoices that carry English as a second language.

6

How much does an ERP cost?

It depends on scope. Custom projects start at $10,000, scoped up front with a fixed price and milestones. After a discovery call we quote it and start within 3–5 business days. Hosting and ongoing work after launch are quoted to scope. Prices are in US dollars.
