Cards and wallets
Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are the base. Gateways such as PayTabs, Telr and Stripe serve UAE merchants.
The Gulf
We are a software development company for Gulf businesses, working remotely from Casablanca, in English. We design websites and build CRM and ERP systems for the UAE and its neighbours, with Gulf working hours, VAT and data rules agreed before the first invoice.
Why the Gulf
Gulf companies can hire us as a software development company and as a web design studio. We design the website, then build the systems behind it: a CRM, an ERP, an online store or a client portal. You deal with one team, from the first sketch to the server.
We work remotely from Casablanca, Morocco. There is no office in Dubai, Riyadh or Doha, and we do not pretend otherwise. You get a fixed quote, a working preview at every step and all code and documentation at handover. The Gulf sits two or three hours ahead of us, so most of your working day is also ours.
Start with the UAE page, which covers web design in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Read more about who we are and what we build.
Time zones
Counted for 09:00 to 18:00 days on both sides. The Gulf has no daylight saving. Casablanca runs on UTC+1, and on UTC+0 during Ramadan, so each gap grows by one hour for those weeks. Oman shares the UAE clock.
| Country | Gap to Casablanca | Shared hours and weekend |
|---|---|---|
| United Arab Emirates (UTC+4) | 3 hours ahead, 4 in Ramadan | 6 hours a day, 5 in Ramadan, Monday to Friday. The weekend is mostly Saturday and Sunday. |
| Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain (UTC+3) | 2 hours ahead, 3 in Ramadan | 7 hours a day, 6 in Ramadan, Monday to Thursday. The weekend is Friday and Saturday. |
Rules we build around
Tax and invoicing. The UAE charges VAT at 5 % and is rolling out e-invoicing in phases. Saudi Arabia charges VAT at 15 % and requires e-invoicing through the ZATCA Fatoora platform. Other Gulf states set their own rules. A store or an invoicing system must apply the right one, so we write the tax rules into the scope with your accountant.
Our ready products, such as RIVER ERP, are built Morocco-first. Gulf tax logic is custom work, not a ready module.
Privacy. The UAE has a federal personal data protection law (PDPL), and the DIFC and ADGM free zones run their own rules. Saudi Arabia has its own PDPL. We design forms, CRMs and mailing lists with consent, access and retention in mind. We suggest a local lawyer confirms what applies to you.
Language. Arabic is an official language across the Gulf, and right-to-left layouts need their own design pass. Our pages here are in English for now. We build the Arabic structure, and a native writer should produce the Arabic copy.
Checkout
Payments differ by country, so we agree the list before we design the cart.
Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are the base. Gateways such as PayTabs, Telr and Stripe serve UAE merchants.
Tabby and Tamara split a purchase into instalments and are common checkout options in the region.
Many shops still offer it, so the order flow needs a cash-collected state and a failed-delivery path.
mada in Saudi Arabia and KNET in Kuwait need a gateway that supports them. We check this before you pick a provider.
What we build
Start with the service you need. Each page explains the local details.
FAQ
What businesses in the Gulf ask before they book a call.
No. We work remotely from Casablanca, Morocco, and we do not claim a Gulf address. You get calls in your working hours and written updates in between.
With the UAE, about 6 hours a day, or 5 during Ramadan. With Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, about 7 hours a day from Monday to Thursday, because their weekend is Friday and Saturday.
We build the right-to-left structure and test it with real Arabic copy. The Arabic text should come from a native writer. Our market pages are in English today, and Arabic pages are a separate project.
Yes, as custom work. We agree the rules with you and your accountant, write them into the scope and test them before launch. Our ready ERP products are built Morocco-first, so UAE and ZATCA rules are not ready-made modules.
Cards, Apple Pay, buy-now-pay-later providers and cash on delivery are the usual requests. National schemes such as mada need a gateway that supports them, so we check your provider list first.
Yes, on request. The UAE has its own pages today and the other countries do not. Book a call and we will go through the local rules with you.
Next step
Tell us your country and your sector on a short call in your working hours. We will check the tax and privacy rules with you and name a first scope.
